Who Am I?

Hi I'm Patrick N. Nzioki, a fullstack software developer with experience developing SAAS web based applications. I simplify complex software requirements and needs into simple solutions and develop microservices solution accessible through RESTful APIs and as a progressive web application (PWA).

I work diligently with AWS cloud and Git managing repositories to ship features and updates multiple times in a day. I am a team player who is always learning from everyone; reliable and ready to offer end to end guidance to the other team players at any phase of software development.

  • Developed a web application for finance and management to track the monthly subscriptions cost for monthly budget projection.
  • Improved system integration (backend and frontend) by the team by creating documentation for application programming interfaces with samplelanguages where I was the primary developer
  • Created CI/CD pipelines that increased code deployment immediately after code commit; initially we deployed once a week
  • Developed a real time costs monitoring dashboard for online services with Gatsby and Flask facilitating management with accurate monthly costs
  • Prepared test cases and tested code in behavior driven development using Behat delivering a solution with valid and verifiable output
  • Refactored eBoard backend in collaboration with team members moving it to Laravel increasing efficiency and code maintainability.
